Venus Bay Getaways is situated in Venus Bay, South Gippsland and ideally located halfway between Wilsons Promontory and Phillip Island. Venus Bay is a pleasant and scenic 2 hour drive from Melbourne CBD along the South Gippsland and Bass Highways. The spectacular coastal views as you wind your way through Kilcunda are just a small indication of the untamed coastline to be experienced in South Gippsland. Bordering the Cape Liptrap Coastal Park, Venus Bay Getaways is a mere 300 metres to the spectacular Surf beaches.

Venus Bay Getaways Guesthouse, Day Spa and Retreat Centre offers facilities to suit everyone's needs.

Our Guesthouse offers 4 star AAA rated "hotel-style" accommodation, with each guest room tastefully decorated with private ensuites. Accommodating a maximum of 9 guests ensures that your hosts Ted and Karen can personalise your getaway experience.

Rise to the aroma of our breakfast delights and Di Bella espresso coffee after a morning beach walk. Breakfast is included in the tariff and features seasonal regional produce. Breakfast is served daily between 9.00am and 10.30 am downstairs in our fully licensed restaurant. Our restaurant is available for in-house guests and private functions.  Dinner is served daily between 6.00 and 7.00pm.  We will require 24hrs notice and menu selection if you wish to dine on the evening of arrival. 

Alternatively, experience our popular "Dinner Package" and enjoy a romantic 3 course candlelit dinner which can be served in our Restaurant, in the privacy of your own room or dine on the deck under the Southern Cross, accompanied by local Gippsland and Australian wines and the famous Grand Ridge Brewery beers from Mirboo North. Our Day Spa offers the ultimate relaxation experiences. At the end of the day soak up the incredible twilight with a glass of bubbly in the outdoor hydrotherapy spa. Retreat beverages range from soft drinks to our fully licensed bar with spirits, local and Australian wines and beers.
